1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

• Account data — your name and email address when you sign in via Google OAuth.
• Resume & job data — the resume text and job descriptions you paste into the tool. These are processed by our AI partners and are not stored permanently on our servers.
• Job tracker data — if you use the Job Application Tracker, we store the details you enter: company name, role, location, job URL, job description text, application status, applied date, and any notes. This data is stored securely and used solely to provide the tracker feature. It is never shared with third parties.
• Payment data — payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card details. We only store your Razorpay customer ID and subscription ID to manage your plan.
• Usage data — counts of resume improvements and download events, used for plan enforcement and cost tracking.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the HireRaft resume optimization service.
• To enforce plan limits and manage your subscription.
• To respond to your feedback and support requests.
• To detect and prevent abuse of the service.

3. Data Sharing

We share your data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate HireRaft — including authentication, database hosting, AI processing, payment processing, and web hosting partners. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Resume text submitted to the tool is not stored beyond the processing request. Usage logs (token counts, generation records) are retained for operational purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

5. Cookies

We use cookies solely for authentication (Supabase session cookies). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, row-level security in our database, and do not store payment card details. Payments are handled exclusively by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant.
